Fading Blue Holographic!

This is the mani I wore on my trip to Florida! Unfortunately it was taken under the boring Toronto sunlight which does these polishes no justice!

Each finger has a coat of Seche Base and 2 coats of colour. The thumb is a Cosmetic Arts polish, pointer is Orly’s Snowcone, middle is Barry M’s Blueberry Ice Cream, ring finger has another Cosmetic Arts polish and lastly, my pinky has a coat of white followed by Barry M’s Blue Moon. Then I put 2 layers of HITS Hefesto for the holographic. Finally, topped it all off with Seche Vite!

I’m Back!

So sorry for the lack of posts :( I was busy packing for my trip, going on my trip and then getting back into my work schedule. But I promise I have brought back lots of goodies from my trip and I got tons of nail mail while I was gone too!

Sally Beauty Club?

Can anyone help out with this? I’m on vacation in Kissimmee, Florida and purchased 4 Finger Paint nail polishes as well as the Sally card. I did not realize there’s a promo for the polishes yet I was charged $4.99 for the polishes. Should I have been charged $3.99 for the polishes? I received a free bag because purchased over 3 polishes and my club card only costed me $2.50. Help, I’m so confused! :(

I won Order of the Garter from Llarowe when she put on the Easter Egg hunt and this is what I came up with :)

Started off with my usual, Seche Base and then applied 3 layers of A-England’s Order of the Garter. I used Bundle Monster’s BM-210 with A-England’s Excalibur for this floral-ish pattern. Of course, cuticles were cleaned with 100% pure acetone and topped off with Seche Vite!

My A-England package and prize from Llarowe came around the same time so this was my first time trying A-England. All I can say is that these polishes are amazing! Order of the Garter was a deep blue with tiny blue sparkles/ glitter in it (you really have to stare at it to see them) and Excalibur stamps on way better then Konad’s silver stamping polish. Yay, A-England!

My first time doing a gradient! I have to admit, the colour choices weren’t the best but it kind of looks like a sunset .. right?! haha

I tried the technique that Talonted used which can be found here.

Started off with my usual Seche Base. Painted half of my nail Borghese’s Felice Tangerine and the other half Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri in Lemon Dash. I did that twice. Then I used my makeup sponge to blend the colours applying the orange, then the yellow and then the mixed yellow/ orange. Topped it off with Seche Vite and this is what I got!

Eep! Do you see what I see?!

GOSH - Holographic $4

Wait, did I just say $4?! Hell yea I did! I found this baby at Beauty Sketch from Jacq. I honestly had no idea it was a HTF/ VHTF polish when I purchased it and managed to get it for $6 including shipping. The prices for this polish on eBay are ridiculous. It’s a nice polish .. but it’s not THAT nice. The prices people pay for polish …

Bumble Bee Nails!

Started this with Seche Base and only needed one coat of Barry M’s Blueberry Ice Cream (Amazing, I know!). I used my dotter to apply Revlon’s Sunshine Sparkle for the body of the bumble bee and Sally Hansen’s Natural White for the wings. Then, I drew the black lines, eye and strip on the body with the Cm Nail Art striper polish. Topped it off with a layer of Seche Vite and voila!
